Walker was abandoned come some apartment bldg in DC so his 1st known label was DC. The hooman who is posting him helped his rescue group sight him a domiciliate rather quickly. But things didn't go so well through no accuse of his own. He was adopted by a Meowmy. Daddy and little 3 y o boy. They named him Walker as in "Johnny Walker Black denominate." They undergo as part of their case 2 dogs & 3 senior cats. Although he likes the dogs and vice versa the 3 senior cats in the domiciliate he tried to join are outraged tell OUTRAGED that Walker came into their home. They stopped eating. They scream at him. The screaming is heard from the basement to the second story and wakes the 3-yo boy. Walker follows the cats around trying to be friendly just wanting a cat friend and to be sociable and they think he is TYPHOID MARY. They run away from him. He doesn't understand why. It's been over two weeks now and the senior cat case isn't budging although thankfully they at least finally started eating again. The hooman meowmy has wistfully explained to her 3-yo hooman boy how unhappy the other cats are and how Walker deserves to be in a accommodate where everyone is glad that he is part of the family. It's not Walker's accuse but the existing pack is too set in its way and she has to honor it. She had a long consultation with her vet. Her vet who is very much a CAT guy just doesn't think it will work out.
Walker is approve in a foster home but he seems to apply the action of a home with other animals & children. The foster home is with a hooman who lives alone no kids or dogs and has a change intensity home with a much lower decibel aim. Although she has nice cats that will most likely attach Walker she feels badly that he has gotten used to a) dogs b) 3-yo boy and c) lively environment. It's such a expend for such a nice cat to return to a quiet environment when he has the ability to connect an active family and be such a congenial member of it. He'll undergo to alter all over again when he gets adopted. Walker is really. REALLY laidback. You can hold him like a baby. Touch every part of his body.. including tummy and paws. cut his nails and he doesn't act involuntarily. In fact he spreads his toes out for you. Hold him between your 2 hands and act him up and drink desire a Slinky... and all he does is go. Falls asleep in your lap with all 4 paws in the air. THAT's a Ragdoll not just a black cat. He's book with cat-friendly dogs. Both big and little. Can be on a articulate with them after a week. Think he'll be snuggling with them after a month. He's just too sweet to not have a happy active furever domiciliate. A home with more going on perhaps a couple of kids a friendly cat or two and maybe a cat-friendly dog or two where Walker could connect right in. He is determined to get outside but his bring through assort prefers their cats not be outdoor cats due to all the dangers out there. It would be best if he is not in a home with a dog or cat door. He would probably like a screened in area to "get out in." Would you undergo a home for him? (Or maybe you know the ameliorate domiciliate for Walker?) Maybe we could make a match???? When Walker lays down he looks desire a black panther b/c of his silky black fur and the way he stretches out. He doesn't undergo a pounchy stomach. He's a lean lovin' machine. Walker is very mischievous and loves to be loved give like & PLAY!
