We had recently retired one of the assemble nodes and are running the twoInformix instances in the same node. We have also added additional CPUsto this node.
When I run a heavy transaction in Instance 2. I don't see the CPUs 18and 19 utilized. Most likely it is utilizing the first two CPUs. Sun OSsees the CPUs as (0. 1. 2. 3. 8. 9. 10. 11. 16. 17. 18. 19). I wouldlike to know how an Informix instance sees the CPUs. Does it see it asSun Os sees or does it see the CPUs as (0. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9,10. 11).
Previously I had dilate 1 configured as "VPCLASSCPU,num=9,aff=1-11,noage".
If anyone could share their insight it will be deeply appreciated.
