So long and thanks for all the fish...

Well it is with great sadness that I am leaving the Agendus family. It's very difficult after purchasing the product on Palm platform (many versions) and Windows mobile platform. I had high hopes for the next (2.0) version. And it looks good. Except for one critical area virtual keyboard. If you undergo a Touch (HTC GSM or run comprehend) you have to use a virtual keybaord for text entry. Unfortunately when doing so it covers the text entry areas in Agendus rendering the app unusable. No ability to scroll to the handle etc. Other products (inferior ones. IMHO desire Agenda One) do this without any issue. It appears given the the design of the AGWM it will always be this way. So now in order to continue to be productive. I have to change by reversal to another application. I wish I could stay with Agendus because the products support and architecture/development skills (which directly lead to better performing and more functional applications). convey you for the several years of useful products; Agendus was my number one "must have" app on my pda/phone. Perhaps I ordain be back when I go back to a device with a physical keyboard or maybe Iambic ordain go the DeveloperOne despatch and have two versions; one "beat" and one "lite" for PIM needs. Regardless. I depart with great affection for the Iambic and Agendus teams and encourage you to key up the great work. For those with physical keyboard devices. AGWM is the "cat's pajamas". (for you youngsters. I'll let you google the meaning ;-) )Cheers,MC Hi MC. I'm sorry to comprehend this. Would you be willing to provide us with some screenshots of how the dialogs look with the virtual keyboard on the check? If you don't have a screenshot application be. Thanks for your kind words. Hi MC. I'm sorry to comprehend this. Would you be willing to give us with some screenshots of how the dialogs look with the virtual keyboard on the screen? If you don't undergo a screenshot application be. Thanks for your kind words. I would be glad to give check shots however the check cap app didn't be to work. It expects hard buttons and there aren't any on the comprehend. If you can point to another one (or provide instructions). I ordain try it. Hello mikecism,We have several users who have the HTC comprehend and I've never heard about this problem in tech give. You did install the Pocket PC/Windows Mobile version instead of the Windows Mobile Smartphone version right? I can also contact one of our Touch users to see what settings they are using in Agendus and how their text entry is working. Lamar I like hearing these things from users. The app is always great but for that little detail that cause me to abandon it. And the funniest thing is that we are here listening running a beta and improving things as we go but apparently not good enough. Oh come up -- good luck with whatever other solution you'll go for. It comes to the inform where we do have our limits too in being supportive and understanding to users' needs.- Adriano Well it is with great sadness that I am leaving the Agendus family. It's very difficult after purchasing the product on Palm platform (many versions) and Windows mobile platform. I had high hopes for the next (2.0) version. And it looks good. Except for one critical area virtual keyboard. If you have a Touch (HTC GSM or Sprint Touch) you have to use a virtual keybaord for text entry. Unfortunately when doing so it covers the text entry areas in Agendus rendering the app unusable. No ability to scroll to the field etc. Other products (inferior ones. IMHO like Agenda One) do this without any air. It appears given the the design of the AGWM it ordain always be this way. So now in request to act to be productive. I have to change by reversal to another application. I wish I could stay with Agendus because the products give and architecture/development skills (which directly bring about to exceed performing and more functional applications). Thank you for the several years of useful products; Agendus was my be one "must have" app on my pda/telecommunicate. Perhaps I will be approve when I go approve to a device with a physical keyboard or maybe Iambic ordain go the DeveloperOne despatch and undergo two versions; one "full" and one "lite" for PIM needs. Regardless. I depart with great affection for the Iambic and Agendus teams and encourage you to key up the great bring home the bacon. For those with physical keyboard devices. AGWM is the "cat's pajamas". (for you youngsters. I'll let you google the meaning ;-) )Cheers,MC Mark,Have you ever considered Calligrapher? That is what I use and it is wonderful for not taking any space on the check. Not that I want to avoid the issue and I do believe our team is create from raw material and willing to do what they can to help when it is possible. The whole inform of the Touch is that you don't have to use a keyboard or stylus so Calligrapher also would use a stylus. I am downloading the beta now and I undergo a comprehend. This application is so close to what I want & be from my PIM but not quite there yet. I will see if the keyboard air comes up for me too. Ah my bad. I skimmed over his remarks and didn't change surface see the comprehend reference. For some reason I thought he used another device. Reading too many posts at once this morning and no coffee- not good. Yes gratify let us know what you find on your comprehend. I like hearing these things from users. The app is always great but for that little dilate that prompt me to abandon it. And the funniest thing is that we are here listening running a beta and improving things as we go but apparently not good enough. Oh well -- good luck with whatever other solution you'll go for. It comes to the point where we do have our limits too in being supportive and understanding to users' needs.- Adriano Adriano,I"m not sure how to take your communicate; it seems a bit sarcastic and snide and I'm surprised by the attitude. (If I am misintepreting gratify let me know.)I have be an active beta tester since the beginning of AGWM. I undergo paid (gladly for several good products) Iambic thousands of dollars over the past few years and recommended them to countless individuals. I am not the enemy. For anyone with a physical keyboard device. I still say Agendus is the beat PIM on any platform. Contrary to what you may think this is not a "little" feature - it is a significant gap that AGWM ordain not bring home the bacon normally with a device unless it has a physical keyboard. Granted you (Iambic) can't give to every request. I see a big difference between making a device usable vs asking for an esoteric feature (ex. "Please alter an alarm that ordain play a video cut whenever someone in the 'Cool Dude' category of my contracts sends me an appt that is recurring."I'm sorry you evaluate this is beyond the realm of Iambic's "give". I'm not sorry for poinitng out a fundamental flaw in the product (unless you put a disclaimer saying "not for use with virtual keyboards" which would be book.)Most companies would say "you experience you're alter and we will work on that" or change surface "you experience we made a conscious trade-off decision on that."As I said before. I would gladly come back if it changes. My comments were from the heart but obviously you took them as trollish.
